Weddings by Rev. Patti

I've been ordained since 2009 but never imagined I would officiate weddings full time back then. I conducted some funerals and married couples thoughout the years, officiating weddings for friends, family and the occasional referral but I was a very proud "boss babe" with demanding, high stress jobs. My last position in 2021 as the Director of Operations of a law firm took a toll on my body and mind. I realized I wanted a more fulfilling life in all aspects. I wanted to combine my spiritual life with my work life and that's what I did. I started my own wedding business. And I'm so happy I did! Being a part of two people's love story is more beautiful and fulfilling than I could have imagined. 

I have so memorable weddings at this point but very recenlty a couple asked me to be a part of their surpise elopement. They planned a big destination wedding but the groom's grandmother was not well enough to travel. They deciced to have an "engagement party" that was actually their civil wedding. They dedicated their ceremony to his grandmother and she was an official witness on their marriage license. Everyone was so surprised, there were lots of tears and plenty of celebrating. It was truly a memorable wedding day and I can't wait to be a part of more surprise weddings.

Last October I officaited the wedding of two of my best freinds in a castle in Ireland. It was magical!

I am also a huge fan of halloween so anytime a couple wants a themed wedding ceremony, I'm all in. Defintely don't be shy in asking if I'll participate in your themed celebrations!  

I specialize in bi-lingual ceremonies. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. I was born in South America to a Colombian mother and a half Venezuelan, half Japanese father. My first language was Spanish but I've been in the States since I was three years old and I live a very lovely bi-cultural lifestyle. I undterstand what it's like to have to blend in to both worlds, like a lot of my couples. I write beautiful bi-lingual ceremonies as well as ceremonies that are only in English or only in Spanish. 

I'm a solo world traveler! I absolutely love and plan to travel as many times a year as possible. It's one of my greatest passions in life. I'm also an avid yoga practioner and I finally received my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification in 2021. I love nature and I'm always thrilled when I get to officiate weddings outdoors, especially by the water or in arboretums. I also really love fall and winter, so if you ever want to get married outdoors in the snow, I'm your gal!
