We are Water2Moon, Long Island's premier spray tan experience. We pride ourselves in being a place that provides 'more than just a spray tan', as our goal when you visit one of our luxury studios is to show you all there is to love about the Moon Glow. 

Our premier UV-free studios are not your typical "tanning salon". We do not have tanning beds or booth tans - just beautifully crafted + professionally applied sprays. Our mission? Show the world that spray tanning can be just as beautiful, just as bronze, and just as easy. All of our airbrush tans are customized to your skin and applied by hand by one of our certified spray tan artists. Our solution is never "one size fits all". We have extensive training in choosing the right bases + mixers for each and every individual client. We have tanned thousands of clients throughout the years and are known for our attention to detail and flawless results. In addition to Water2Moon's signature airbrush tan, we offer airbrush contouring, laser teeth whitening, keratin lash lifts and tints, full body waxing, facial + skincare services, pre + post tan products, and even in-studio special event makeup.. We have been tanning brides with our signature Moon Glow solution from the very beginning, but starting in around 2017, we began to shift focus and gear our marketing toward brides-to-be when we realized what a huge market Long Island was for bridal. It has always excited us to be a small part of the wedding day magic, and once we realized how many brides were opting for a healthy sunless glow for their special day, it became a priority for us to hone in on customizing the very best glow possible for weddings. Since then, we have tanned thousands of brides (and grooms!) for their weddings here on Long Island. We're so honored to know that our Moon Glow is forever preserved in thousands of photos that our couples will share for the rest of their lives, frame in their homes, pass down for generations.

Water2Moon started as just an idea back in early 2011 after our owner, Amanda, suffered bad burns from eleven minutes in a tanning bed. She knew there had to be another way to achieve a pretty bronze without paying the price. She'd also been toying with the idea of becoming her own boss and fully diving into entrepreneurship for over two years, at that point. A few months later, she packed up her car to the brim with a pop-up tanning tent, some solutions, and a spray tan machine. She was mobile tanning for over three years, traveling all the way to the city some days to do a single spray. During this time, she also worked in four - yes, four! - hair salons across both counties of Long Island, working out of a closet-sized space with her little spray tan set up.

Amanda is very passionate about educating individuals of all ages about the dangers of harmful UV exposure and why spray tanning is always the healthier alternative. She opened my first storefront in beautiful Babylon, New York in December 2014 and never looked back. By operating her own business, Amanda and her girls are personally invested in each and every client that walks through the W2M doors. They truly care about the result of every spray tan performed at Water2Moon. Amanda is also a committed sunless educator, teaching her technicians and every client Water2Moon sprays that a tan is absolutely achievable using natural and organic products.

(Fun fact: Our name comes from astrology! Back when Water2Moon was founded, Amanda considered ditching the original name and putting 'glow' into it instead, but is now thankful she kept it as is, because a lot of clients tell us the name is memorable and unique, and love the shortened 'W2M' version.)
