Introduction

Hey lovers, 

The most special part about a wedding, in my opinion, is the celebration. Life is short, people move away from each other, and kids grow up. The time is now to squeeze your loved ones, witness eachother's lives, and celebrate finding the person you want to spend everyday with. I look for the magic in your day.

Growing up the movies that made me feel so grateful for the life I have and the love I feel are the ones from the early 2000's: 13 going on 30, Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde, and My Big fat Greek Wedding. That is how I want you to feel when you see your wedding photos. I want you to feel so grateful that you are here, on this planet, with people you love so much your heart could explode. Your time is fleeting but your photos should bring back those moments in an instant. If I can give you that sweet feeling, while making you feel like the 2 most beautiful people on earth, I know I did my job. 

The Wedding Industry

For me it truly is love (not even the romantic kind). I started my journey in the industry as a single girl. It was my love for my family and friends that transcended into empathy for my clients. When they squeezed their loved ones, I knew exactly what that felt like and I wanted to capture it the way I'd want to remember it for my entire life. Also I knew hospitality and weddings were for me when the pressure of events fueled me and didn't wipe the floor with me. I love the pressure and the challenge. Finally, my family owns a wedding venue so my experience extends passed the camera. This world is my life. 

The Wedding Memories

I have a simple story from almost every wedding I have ever been a part of. My favorite, (on the venue side of my career) yearssss ago, I was helping my mother give a tour of our property. As we reached the ceremony site, she told the couple that if it rained, there was an indoor ceremony space they could easily choose without flipping. The groom said, "Oh it's going to rain on our wedding day" with absolute certainty. His father had died the year before but his whole life he used to love the rain. On rainy days he would open the garage door and sit just under it and smoke a cigar enjoying the rain. The day of their wedding came and it was cloudy. The entire day, it looked like a big storm was coming but the rain held. They managed to have the ceremony outdoors, with a dicey gray sky. As they started their vows, it began to drizzle, the bride did not take an umberella, letting the water land on her. The groom chose the rain too. As soon as they ended the ceremony with a kiss, the drizzle turned into heavy rain, and everyone sitting in that ceremony knew that the groom's dad was with them. 

 

Weddings make me believe in magic. 

Specialization

My editing style is true-to-life color, beautiful, warm, and happy, without manipulating the photo too much. My posing is very flexible. I try to mold my style to my couples asethetic. I believe a photographer should be versatile and know what will work best with a couple rather than using poses they rely on.

The story of our wedding was told through the intimate and thoughtful photos shot by Victoria! She was able to capture special moments between family and friends, create a unique photo shoot for our first look moments and used our venue in creative ways. She was extremely professional, meeting with us prior to our event, going over ideas for shots, and overall made the whole experience very easy. We would highly recommend her for your special day!
