Sitter Network (L&A Babysitting Inc.)

Sitter Network is a childcare service that primarily accomodates families in Nassau County for date night and occasional babysitting needs. Sitter Network recently launched "The Sitter Connection", a service providing childcare assistance at weddings, parties, and events throughout Long Island (NY) AND surrounding areas (some parts of NY and NJ).  Our team can assist your guests with their childcare needs whether at the venue or at a nearby hotel. All of our childcare providers have professional experience with children of all ages. We pride ourselves in being different from an agency. We are a fun, loving, and welcoming babysitting team that will provide you with reliable and safe childcare. We are proud supporters of all first responders and military personnel as Sitter Network is owned and run by a first responder. To inquire on a quote, please call or text 516-913-3802 with at least two weeks notice of the upcoming event and we will respond back within 48 hours of your message. Full payment along with a $50 reservation fee is required a week prior to event. Tips are welcome and can be given in cash to childcare providers at the end of the event. If Soft Playground (9x9 area) is requested, an additional fee of $500 would be applied which includes set up and take down. Looking forward to hearing from you!! :)

At many of the weddings that we have assisted at, guests and parents have come up to our childcare providers thanking them for helping and engaging with their children. We love when children smile, laugh, and have fun.

Our childcare providers can engage with playing games, supervisoring children, ensuring that the children eat their meals, and can provide assistance with night time routine (if childcare is in a hotel or home setting). 

Sitter Network (L&A Babysitting Inc) was founded ​in October of 2013. Both founders were interested in creating a reliable source of childcare in an organized system for working parents. L&A Babysitting started as a group of college students looking for local babysitting jobs and 10 years later, grew to be Sitter Network as a team of hard working babysitters. 

The company is based in Nassau County (Long Island), New York. Sitter Network’s mission statement is “Our goal is to provide reliable and convenient childcare, for parents with any kind of schedule no matter how unique.” Sitter Network has over 70 vetted babysitters as part of their team who are either college students or are someone that is looking for part time work in addition to a primary obligation.
