Hi there! I'm Leslie Simmons, and I've been pursuing my passion for photography since a young age.  I grew up in Las Vegas and moved to Salem, MA in 8th grade. I moved to Rochester, NY to attend the renowned Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where I specialized in advertising and fashion photography. I traveled through Europe and photographed models for two summers in Paris. Following that I went on to Grad School at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh where I earned a Master's in Mulitmedia Technology. 

After Grad School I spent time working in NYC for two major men's magazines. One of which was Maxim magazine which helped shape my unique style, that balances elegance and sensuality with a touch of editorial flair.

I love working with brides, helping them create memorable gifts for their partners on their wedding day.  Another favorite is couples boudoir where I capture the essence of love, beauty, and intimacy between each unique couple.

What truly fuels my passion for this genre of photography is the creative ideas that brides themselves bring to the table. Each bride has a distinct vision and style, and it is my pleasure to work closely with them in capturing their unique vision. Some opt for classic, romantic looks, while others embrace avant-garde and daring themes. Together, we bring their vision to life in a way that is both visually stunning and deeply personal.

I specialize in boudoir and couples boudoir photography. I know the importance of creating a comfortable and empowering environment, where my clients can truly shine and embrace their beauty, vulnerability, and strength. My passion for boudoir photography goes beyond capturing stunning images; it is about creating a transformative experience for each person I works with. 

 I've always had a deep love for capturing life's beautiful moments through my lens. After completing my formal education in photography, I embarked on an exciting career in the photo department of leading men's magazines.

Driven by a desire for creative freedom and personal growth, I took a leap of faith and transformed a gutted salon in Sayville into a magnificent loft studio. The space features exposed brick walls and wood beam ceilings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for my clients.

Collaborating with skilled hair and makeup artists, I ensure that every photoshoot in my studio is a seamless and professional experience. I'm committed to staying current with trends and advancements in the industry, continuously upgrading my studio and expanding my skills.

While I embrace the latest techniques, I hold a deep appreciation for the classic look in photography. I believe that the timeless beauty of an image lies in its ability to evoke emotions and tell compelling stories. Beyond specializing in capturing individuals, I also offer my expertise in family photography, documenting businesses, and immortalizing the magic of events. My portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects, from intimate portraits to grand celebrations, all captured with an artful eye and a passion for storytelling. 

I love working out, traveling, spending time with my three daughters and road trips.  I played football in high school on the men's team and continued on to play women's pro football and rugby in college. I still have that desire to play full contact sports which is why I like to lift heavy and challenge myself with new activies like races and kick boxing.
