I’m Ken, a fine art, and documentary based photographer.
I pick up my camera to find the beauty in the simplest moments
Nothing makes me more happy than when I’m behind the lens capturing a love story between two people.

The thing is, there has never been another love like yours, and there never will be again. And I am here to capture your unique story.

I want you to look back at your photographs in years to come and remember how you felt. I want you to re-live those precious laughs, smiles, tears and epic dance moves a thousand times over.

FAQs

Have you photographed at our venue before?
Over the years we have been to numerous venues in the tri-state area, so there is a good chance the answer is yes, but if we haven’t all of our photographers adapt well and will scout out the area for the best locations to take photos. We also do our homework and research your location before your big day to familiarize ourselves with your venue.

What should I wear to the engagement session?
I will give you one tip - dress like yourself. Wear what makes you feel good, and what you feel confident in!

How many pictures will I receive?
We don’t have a set number of photos that we limit ourselves to it depends on the size and amount of photo opportunities during your wedding. We average a minimum of 1500 pictures with most weddings having many more images than that. Your photos are ready for delivery approximately 4-6 weeks after you wedding.

Are you available outside of Long Island?
Yes! I love to travel. Some of my most favorite weddings have been on the West Coast. I always have my passport ready!

How do I know if you're the right studio for us?
If you’ve made it this far, you’ve certainly learned a lot about what we have to offer. When we meet – keep in mind am I someone that you would want to spend the day with? Photographers are one of the few vendors you’ll hang with on your wedding day! Do you see the style of photos you’d like captured for your wedding day? If the answer is yes, then reach out to us right away!

Personal Hobbies

Fact 1: Where it all started, a 7th grade field trip with a Fischer Price film camera. I took my first picture the mast of a sail while traveling down the Hudson - I earned a coveted spot on my beloved middle school principal's wall - I was hooked.

Fact 2: One of my favorite hobbies is gardening - I love getting my hands in the dirt and creating beautiful landscapes around my yard. Landscape design is a true love of mine. A chance to take my camera out into nature is hard to pass up!

Fact 3: Just like with my photography, I enjoy the simpler things in life - being out and about with my family, friends, great food, and nice views.

Fact 4: I love quoting movies, so if we’re out for a session with me you will get complimentary best movie lines to distract you from the camera and be yourself!

I am a die-hard Yankees fan, who married a Red Sox fan. I am a proud girl dad to my 7-year-old amazing daughter. I am a master of 80s and 90s movie quotes. Any chance to watch live music or stop by a local trivia night - I'll be there. I have a soft spot for dogs.
In 2004, I established my studio (same year my wife and I started dating). Over the past 20 years, she and I have built a boutique studio with a close-knit staff trained in fine art with documentary based roots.

Ken gave me a great quote for my “micro” wedding. We didn’t want any getting ready photos, just photos at the venue. One of our priorities was not missing our party for pictures. We did a first look and shot the majority of our photos prior to the ceremony. Ken arrived nearly an hour early and got shots of the set up and had the groomsmen photos done before I had even arrived.

Where can I start! Ken is an amazing photographer! He is so goofy and fun I love it. My husband is not really a fan of taking photos but Ken made it all work! It was such an incredible experience from booking him to our engagement shoot and then our wedding.
