Hi! My name is Heather, I am a full time Photographer, Mom, and coffee/caffeine enthusiast. I am a people pleaser by nature, a little more clumsy than the average person, and have a bad habit of saying sorry even if I bump into inatimate objects (yes, I'm serious lol.) I won't tell you my age right away but was born in the 8th decade of the 1900s. I am one of the Covid Brides who never got to do the big wedding, but we did wind up getting married 3/28/2021 in NJ. I was just me, my Husband, my Grandma and my Grandpa <3 Yet even with how small it was I still got wedding and video done! lol I have always been in love with Photography and being creative so none of my friends or family are really surprised at how much I love my job. I really wanted to put myself out there and introduce myself to Brides and Grooms looking to cover all the celebrations leading up to your special day!

I started off about 8 years ago shooting smaller weddings and fell in love right away! I love the excitement and energy, I love constantly learning new trends in the wedding industry, I love seeing the most cherished moments between parents and grandparents giving their babies away on one of the most beautiful days of their life, I love being creative and making art out of the love between two people. After shooting so many weddings on my own, I've branched out to shoot with larger wedding companies who I shoot with all the time. The experience I have gained over the years also helps me deliver the best experience I can for Brides on their celebrations before the big day like their Bridal Shower and Rehearsal Dinners which are so incredibly fun! I have to admit, lately Rehearsal Dinners have been one of my favorite events to shoot!

One memory comes to mind although there is an endless amount of amazing moments! This one was actually recently at a rehearsal dinner for a couple who I shot their proposal/engagement session. The Bride's Mom had kept a letter that the Bride wrote to her Mom when she was 10 years old and told her to read it on her wedding day. She told her Mom how she was the best Mom in the whole world, and "thank goodness you don't let me stay up until 11 o'clock like the rest of the kids but basically it's ok if she wants to let her stay up until 11 o'clock" lol I don't remember word for word but how the Bride's Mom kept it together during the whole speech is beyond me! lol It was hilarious, thoughtful, emotional, and just absolutely amazing overall. The Bride didn't remember writing that letter which made it that much more amazing lol I hope this becomes a trend one day.

I specialize in events such as Bridal Showers, Engagement Parties, Proposals, Weddings (even the most intimate of sizes), Rehearsal Dinners, Engagement Sessions, and more! Basically anything you can think of from birth, to cake smash, to your 100th birthday party with your entire extended family.

The first time I was documented with a camera in my hand was back in diapers on my Mom's VHS tapes which I can't make public because for some reason she didn't put a shirt on me before she started recording lol but it was cute I promise! I took photography in High School, and picked up a DSLR when I was 23 when my daughter was born to take pictures of her because my phone quality was terrible. I started taking the camera literally everywhere with me to the point people would call me 'the photographer' at parties. I was only taking pictures because I liked it, but a friend of mine encouraged be to try and start a business. I took her advice, and never stopped. I even left my 9-5 job to focus on my passion, my career that I have built on my own, and to be more present for the kids which of course they love! I have been doing all types of Photography for over 8 years and for the first time won Bethpage of Long Island's Best Photographic Artist of 2023 and nominated for Long Island's Best Wedding Photographer in 2023! I sincerely love what I do and love delivering images that people can keep forever.

I don't really get the same questions over and over too much, but I do offer discounts for certain things if I am aware ahead of time. My husband is a Police Officer so I offer Blue Line discounts, returning client discount, etc. 

Lately I have been actually really liking the gym which I never thought I would say! lol I hang out with my kids alot when I'm not working and love to take them out even if it's just to the park or for ice cream. I have two cats who I am obsessed with- Kitty who we call the OG Kitty aka Big Mama and Pheobe the Pretty Princess. I have always had dogs my whole life but my husband won't let me get another pet womp womp.
