We believe in not holding back from the big emotions during a wedding day even if that means happy tears streaming down your face (because make-up can always be touched up).
We believe that the images from your wedding should show the connection you share, the family you love and the moments you will never forget.

These are the only memories you will have to look back on after the day is over - don’t trust it to just anyone. You get one shot to capture these special moments, you should be confident in who choose and we hope it will be us.
FAQs
Q: Do you offer only one photographer?
A: Yes, for small weddings under 100 people and weddings with little to no bridal party.
Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?
A: No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. We do not have a set number of images that you will receive because every wedding is different, however we typically deliver 1200-1500 edited photos.
Q: Does your studio provide videography services?
A: Yes. We have our own in-house videographers on our team. This allows your photographers & videographers to work seamlessly together with a coordinated work flow, resulting in the most efficient use of your time. Working with outside videographers is not recommended.
Q: Have you shot at my venue before?
A: We have shot at most venues of Long Island, so there is a good chance that we have. However, if we have not, we will get to the venue early on the day of and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations. We also do extensive online research prior to your big day!
Q: What is your photography style?
A: We are a mix of candid and naturally posed shots. We do not “overpose” you, we direct you, but leave it up to your chemistry as a couple to find the perfect pose. We love using creative lighting, unique perspectives, angles, composition to bring out our clients personalities and beauty while telling their wedding story. We pride ourselves on not just being photographers, but rather artists creating unique and expressive imagery.
Q: Do you retouch all the images in our online gallery?
A: Yes we do. Every image we deliver is post processed with our unique signature style. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, and other corrections. If there is something you want specifically touched up, we will do our best to accommodate you. We do not over edit or ‘filter’ our photos, our style is bright, colorful, and elegant!
Q: What rights do I have to the digital prints?
A: You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Foxlight Studios.
Q: How long does it take to get my photos and how will I get them?
A: You will see 50-100 high resolution sneak peek images within 1-2 weeks of your wedding. Your high resolution full gallery will take about 3 months. You will receive them as a downloadable and sharable online gallery without watermarks.
Q: Do you have liability insurance?
A: Yes. Many venues require the photographer to have Liability Insurance. We send it over a month before your wedding.
Q: We live out-of-town. Is it possible to have a phone consultation or Skype call?
A: We’d love to meet you but if its not possible, we can schedule a Google Meet and video chat!

Foxlight has been super great to work with! We used them for our engagement shoot and wedding photography and videography. My husband and I had no idea what to do for posing and Chris helped to guide us perfectly. The engagement photo turnaround was lightning fast. Later for the wedding, they were great the entire day through. Chris and his team all were masters at wrangling my rowdy family for a pic and overall guiding everything. We got our sneak peeks within 6 days and I’m sure the final product and video will be incredible. Their light and crisp editing style is timeless and I’m excited to have the photos forever.
Foxlight did an amazing job capturing our wedding. My husband and I aren't great photo people but he did a great job of telling us how to pose and coaching us through some great shots. He even did a great job of wrangling my rowdy family for photos. Our engagement photos and sneak peeks were beautiful so we're excited to see our full wedding album as well!
Can I just say perfection? Chris and Jackie truly made my dreams and visions come true and entertained all my little ideas. The pictures are absolutely incredible and captured everything we were feeling that day. They have an artists eye for sure and made me so happy from start to finish. They've got a bunch of options for videographer packages, albums, photo booth, etc. If you go with them you will not regret the decision!

Chris & Jacqui, the owners are absolutely amazing and super cool to work with! They make you feel comfortable and like you’ve known them forever. They were constantly fixing my dress/train to make sure the pictures came out perfect. I had a few sneak previews within days of the wedding!
