What is the difference between airbrush & regular foundation?
Airbrush allows for a matte finish, soaking in any oils a skin may produce through a long day. It blends better than traditional creating a smooth finish. You do not have to necessarily use this all over the face & can also be used stronger in some areas vs others. It is customizable to your skintone as there are many shades & easily mixed into a tone best for your shade of skin. Highly recommended for most brides.
Do I need touch up services?
Touch up services are completely optional & an added luxury for the day. I suggest full day touch ups for weddings during the warm months (May-October). These services are not only for the bride & lead family but we include the entire bridal party. We allow you to decide this up until 2-3 months before the big day! If your budget does not allow for the added cost, we discuss a personal touch up kit for the big day as back up.
Can you bring a second artist?
Second artists are at the discretion of the lead team working your wedding. We allow input and concerns but ultimately we create the perfect relaxed flow for you and your group.
We are extremely time conscious & have mastered our personal limits for a bridal party. We would never jeapordize your big day by rushing services. We consider the bride's comfort level when making this decision as we know it becomes stressful organizing the logistics of a wedding morning.
The lead artist always does majority of the group. If a second artist is needed, they come for a portion of the day to help with some bridesmaids and leave when completed. We always suggest leaving it to the hands of the professionals & trusting us to do our job!
Can I book a trial before I sign a contract?
Yes, we allow trials prior to contracting. Once you inquire with our team, you have 2-4 weeks to book a formal trial. We mainly do trials during the week at a few long island locations. Once the trial is complete, you have 24 hours to sign a contract & deposit. After 24 hours, the date is released.
You are also able to trial after contracting at your leisure.
Do I need an exact count to sign a contract?
No, we do not force you to have an exact number of people per service for the contracting phase. However, we do require a range within 2-3 people. For example, Hair Count 7-9 people & Makeup Count 8-11. In this case, you would be committing to a minimum of 7 for hair & 8 for makeup. We confirm final counts a few weeks before the big day.
Can I make a schedule for the morning of?
Although we understand the convenience of a schedule, it actually becomes more of a delay. Approximately, everyone can take up to 30 minutes per service, but if someone takes 20 minutes, we would want another girl ready to go. Schedules delay this option.
Instead, we suggest creating waves for your girls to come in. For example, 3-4 girls come at 7am & the next wave come at 8am. This allows there to always be a few girls on deck so we never miss a beat & dont run behind.
Do you travel to me? Are there travel fees?
We travel to you, no matter the distance, on your wedding day! Travel fee's are specifically based on the location. We do not charge a travel fee to walk out the door. A travel fee is added when the artist is traveling for over +30 minutes.
