East Wind is a destination, with a luxury hotel, a 10,000 square foot full-service Spa & Salon, Desmond’s Restaurant, just right for the rehearsal dinner and breakfast buffet. The Shoppes, just a few steps away, offer impressive array of retailers and Ruggero’s Family Style Italian Restaurant with a grand carousel right outside the front door for a perfect photo backdrop. Located at the gateway to Long Island’s famed North Fork, East Wind Long Island is set on 28 lush acres and is home to 50 grand rooms and suites, a 10,000-square-foot lavish and tranquil full-service spa and an award-winning catering facility with more than 50,000-square-feet of indoor and outdoor banquet, event, meeting, retreat and conference spaces. The Inn also features a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, complimentary Wi-Fi and a 200-seat restaurant featuring Sunday Brunch and more. The Shoppes at East Wind Long Island is a quaint shopping village adjacent to the Inn, with 24 retail stores and eateries, serving Starbucks® specialty coffees, ice cream and pizza and a grand carousel.

FAQs

Do I work with you the entire time? The Sales Team at East Wind works together as a team so there is always someone to be able to assist you at any time. The week of your wedding you will be introduced to your maitre d’. Your maitre d’ is responsible for executing your event. What happens if guests can’t make it? You are responsible for the number of guests guaranteed on your contract. Your final count is not due until 2 weeks prior to your event date. What happens if more Guests come? Your final count is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date. If more people need to be added on after that count has been given, they will need to be added to your floor plan and paid for prior to your event date. Should I hire an outside Wedding Coordinator? This is at your discretion but know that most coordinators are expensive and not entirely necessary with the level of service we provide. We provide you with dedicated event representatives, who will be available to help you establish all of the plans for your event. What happens if it rains? Each venue at East Wind has indoor ceremony capabilities. Your maitre d’ will be in touch with you the week of your wedding to discuss the forecast and ceremony plans as it gets closer. Do you do a tasting before we book? We are not able to provide individual tastings for all of our brides & grooms. The quality of our food can be tasted at any of our Bridal Showcases held throughout the year. How many people can sit at each table? The Vineyard can fit anywhere from 8-10 guests per table. Weddings held at The Inn & Estate can accommodate 10-12 guests per table. What services do you provide other than Catering? East Wind provides a myriad of services in addition to your specific event, including Overnight Accommodations, full service Spa & Salon, in house Restaurant & Pub, on-site Florist & many more amenities. Please inquire with your event representative with your specific needs. What color linens do you provide? Included in your package are Ivory Linens with Ivory Napkins. Alternative colors can be purchased at an additional cost from our in house florist, With All My Heart. How far in advance should I block rooms at The Inn? As soon as possible! Our hotel rooms are available first come-first serve so waiting to block rooms may mean you run the risk of us being sold out. Can I bring my own food and/or alcohol? No, NYS Liquor Law prohibits outside alcoholic beverages on the premises at all times. All food served at East Wind must be prepared in our kitchens. Where is my food prepared? Each venue at East Wind has its own dedicated kitchen with its own dedicated team of chefs & cooks following East Wind’s House Recipes. What do you serve to kids? Children ages 3-10 years will be offered Chicken Fingers & French Fries or Pasta Can we bring home leftover food? No, Suffolk County Department of Health prohibits food leaving our property. You and your guests’ health & safety are our number one priority.

We got married at The Estate and there are not enough wonderful things I can say about the staff at East Wind. Jennifer was our salesperson and she was a dream to work with! She was so responsive to all of our questions and is just one of the nicest, most bubbly people! She took the time to congratulate us, and make sure our night went well. Our maitre d was Tony. Him and his staff were on top of everything. Between making dropping off all of our decor so easy, setting it all up BEAUTIFULLY, ensuring us and our guests had everything we needed, and just being a warm presence, he helped make our day run so smoothly. Marylou was our bridal attendant. She is an ABSOLUTE sweetheart. She was so attentive! Our guests raved about the food and the service all night. We are so happy that we chose East Wind!

This is seriously a beautiful venue. I fell in love with the rustic feel and look. I was dead set on using a venue that only did 1 wedding at a time, and I know that East Wind can do multiple at a time, but the fact that all the areas are completely separate properties, have their own kitchens, bars, bridal areas and staff, you would never know that other weddings may be there. On our day, we were the only wedding on the entire property, so we were even able to use some of the other venues for photos which was great. Our Sales manager, Nicole, was so amazing. She was so patient with me, as I had many questions along the way and was always very quick at responding. On the day of, we had Joe as our Maître D and Barbara as my bridal attendant. Both were so great. I had not one worry on the day of. They were a well-oiled machine. My cup was never empty and they always seemed to know what was needed. I could not recommend East Wind more.

The Vineyard at East Wind- everything from the service , to the decoration, to the accommodations was perfect . Joe was our Maitre d…he was awesome ! He took care of everything we asked, he truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect ! Barbara was my bridal attendant and she was by my side the entire night. She kept adjusting my dress during pictures, and throughout the evening both her and Joe made sure we were always taken care of . I literally did not have to ask them a thing. It’s like they could read our minds ! Our glasses were always full and they were always around . Truly could not have gone through the night without them…from the food, to the exceptional service , that waitstaff and cooks are amazing . Everyone raved about the food and service !

We were originally scheduled to have our wedding at Miller Place Inn. 80 Days before our wedding we received the notice that MPI closed. To say we were in crisis mode is an understatement. That being said, East Wind was nothing but a miracle. We worked with Jennifer and Rob and the entire staff at East Wind was so accommodating, helpful and overall a happy, energetic bunch. They always made you feel like family when you were there. The property is breathtaking! We we had our first look at the front round about, ceremony in the outdoor chapel, and cocktail/reception in the Veranda Room. Tony (Maitre 'D), Tara (Bridal Attend), and Joey (Captain) went above and beyond the entire day to make everything perfect.

The venue itself is beautiful and the grounds at East Wind are STUNNING. We wanted a venue that had a combination of a rustic and modern look, and this venue has it all. Although there are other weddings that can be going on at the hotel the same day, the Estate is a separate building and I like how you’re the only wedding there. The hotel being on site is another bonus as it’s super convenient for your out of town guests to stay at.  Our sales rep that we were assigned to was Nicole. She was absolutely amazing! Nicole always answered my million phone calls and emails right away. I’m so happy that we had her for the months leading into our big day. Two other people that we need to give a HUGE shoutout to are our Maitre’d Tony and Bridal Attendant Mary Lou. They both went above and beyond for us the entire day. Anything we needed or wanted, they delivered and made us feel so at ease. Could not recommend this venue more!!
