Come Alive Music started as a husband and wife DJ & Singer duo with over 17 years of experience. Eventually, transitioning to a full DJ & band hybrid, giving the bride and groom their dream wedding by catering to their vision. Most of our parents want that old school band vibe when we young people want that DJ energy. Guess what?! You can have BOTH with our services! We love seeing every guest, bride, and groom satisfied with a mix of literally everything and anything. While we read the crowd live, simultaneously using your preferred songs creates a timeless dynamic. We can't wait to make your wedding come alive!

Music is something that the couple and guests will always remember and we love being a part of those beautiful memories that are cherished forever. It is an honor to meet people and build relationships that become like family to our group. There have been numerous instances where our relationships with the couples and families weren't just the night of the event but years of working together and doing life together!

"One more song, one more song" we love the special moment at the end of the night that we get to be a part of. The couple and all of their close family and friends who stayed until the very end surround the couple with love and joy. Seeing every smiling face having the time of their lives is rewarding. Another story that comes to heart is a couple we had the privilege of serving a few years back after doing their wedding asked us to be the resident entertainment for their restaraunts in New York!

What makes Come Alive Music different from other music vendors is that we have the best of both worlds. You get the "concert" energy of a live band with the seamless beats of a DJ. This allows for a unique sound and a level of spontaneity that a standard DJ or band can't replicate. A crowd typically responds more to a real-time performance than just a playlist mix. A DJ cannot be a band, and a band cannot be a DJ, which creates a luxury of having both on a high level! 

We started Come Alive Music because we saw the power in combing both a DJ and live music together. We noticed that the room felt lifeless with just a playlist. As soon as our DJ hit play and the sax played his first note the room came alive! This is where our name came from. 

Each team member has the energy and excitement you would want at your wedding. We get the crowd moving and grooving, and we bring a vibrant atmosphere to your event.

Q: Do you take special requests? 

A: YES! We can play anything you want. 

Q: Do you only play what is on your setlist? 

A: NO. Our specialty is to read the room and see what our bride, groom and guests are enjoying. A sheet is given ahead of time for the couple to fill out so we know exactly what they want. 

Q: Why a  DJ-hybrid instead of a typical DJ or a band?

A: Choosing a DJ- hybrid will give you the best of both worlds. We offer the energy and excitement of live instruments and singers while keeping the seamless flow of a traditional DJ. There is also more of musical variety. A DJ can play everything and anything and our instruments and singers will complement the DJ perfectly and will interact with your guests. This will keep the party jumping and moving all night long. 

As a group, we love getting dinner together, Smokey Bones is our spot! Give us those BBQ ribs, and we are happy campers. All jokes aside, our team are all professionally trained in their given talents. Most offer lessons in their field, some make their own original music, and others are music teachers in local public schools. In simple, we are just living out what we love to do and utilze the gifts God gave us!
