Seemingly plucked from the south of France, this 80,000 square-foot medieval-style mansion provides a setting that is both timeless and historic. Imagine a romantic wedding ceremony against the backdrop of the Huntington Harbor and surrounded by flourishing gardens or an elegant exchange of vows in the Grand Ballroom. Photo opportunities abound at this National Historic Landmark both inside and out, including a breath-taking courtyard with vine-covered columns, a stately circular stairway and six impressive fireplaces. The ballroom and piazza offer two distinct settings, providing a variety of options to customize the wedding of your dreams.

BOLI Love!
John the maitre'd was phenomenal. He was so attentive to what we wanted and made sure the day was perfect. He was so easy to talk to and work with. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. It is so different, our guests were coming up to us at the wedding saying they had never seen anything like it. We loved the fact that there is a separate room for dancing and dinner. It gave guests the opportunity to sit and talk in a quieter setting if they chose too. The food was delicious. My guests still talk about the choices we offered and how delicious everything was! My husband and I got to taste everything we had chosen and were very happy to take a to go bag home to enjoy it more.
This venue was perfect for our small summer wedding. It was more than enough space and the staff was extremely accommodating. John was a joy to work with and was really attentive to our needs. I can not say enough good things about them.
John made sure every last detail was correct and that our wedding day ran smoothly! The food was great, the venue package was reasonably priced, and we had a fantastic time all around. Could not recommend this venue for your big day enough. We were able to dance and fully enjoy our cocktail hour and reception which was so wonderful, and the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful.
Absolutely Magical!! John and his staff were amazing!! I can’t say enough great things about John! He truly made every single part of the wedding perfect and stressless!!!Nicole was wonderful with all the details in setting up. Chateau at Coindre Hall was the third or fourth venue that we looked at, and I immediately knew that I had to get married there. Yes, the grounds were beautiful. Yes, the venue itself was beautiful. Yes, the décor the beautiful. But what stood out to me the most was John Schlenke, Coindre Hall's wonderful Maitre’d. John from day one has made us feel confident in our choice. The bride’s bridal suite was perfect. It was large enough for my girls and mothers. There was a spacious bathroom in our suite as well. Coindre Hall met all my expectations.
When my husband and I saw this venue- we knew it was special. It felt so unique compared to many of the others we had been to. The grounds are stunning, making for SO many different photo ops. The maitre d' John Schlenke is beyond accommodating. He really invests his time and energy into making your day perfect. He is very responsive to emails, which made planning a breeze. The day-of captain George was also spectacular. My husband and I were never without a drink, and John made sure we got to eat throughout the night. The food was absolutely delicious, with cocktail hour having a really spectacular spread. We added a raw bar too which was a huge hit. There is a bridal suite, as well as a groom's suite - leaving ample room for the bridal party to relax before cocktail hour starts. I was weary about dining and dancing being in separate spaces, but it was a complete non-issue. There are tables on the outskirts of the dance floor for those that wish to stand along the edges instead of dancing. Guests also have access to the whole venue which I thought was very cool.
My husband and I were determined to find something outside of the typical LI wedding norm. We went to 11 venue appointments but were unenthused by most of the halls and popular places. We wanted something unique; but the vineyards are expensive and industrial spaces are a lot of work. Coindre Hall was perfect. The grounds are gorgeous, the building is charming, the food is incredible, and the price is fantastic. I can’t say enough about our wedding coordinator, John Schlenke. He was professional, attentive, and super patient throughout an entire year of all of my emails, calls, ideas & worries! John even let us arrive at 10am for a 5pm ceremony so that we could have all hair & makeup done on site in their beautiful bridal suite.
