Hi, I'm Christina!

Ever since I picked up a camera at the ripe age of 16, I knew I loved photography. The opportunity to meet new people and connect through art, the adventure and rush of capturing a priceless moment, is an incredible and inexplicable feeling. I hope that I can give you that same feeling when you look at your photo gallery and/or content creation! 

I'm a bride to be (& I will NEVER get tired of saying it!). I'm a bird & dog mom. Aside from photography, I have one of the best jobs in the world - I teach! I love getting lost in a good book and catching a Broadway play. My favorite season is summer, I'm a huge Swiftie, and my favorite word is "epic."  

Being a bride myself, I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for the wedding industry and everything that goes into it. Planning my own wedding opened my eyes to the excitement, the emotions, and—let’s be real—the stress that brides experience. Between navigating endless vendor options, understanding pricing, and trying to stay true to your vision, it can feel overwhelming. That’s one of the biggest reasons I wanted to focus on weddings in my photography business.

I love being part of the wedding industry because it allows me to not only document one of the most important days in a couple’s life but also support them during the journey. Weddings are filled with so much love, anticipation, and raw, real moments. As a photographer, I get to capture and preserve those memories forever—the laugh during a first look, the tears during a vow, the dance floor energy at the reception.

More than that, I wanted to make this part of the process easier for brides. Having been in their shoes, I understand the little details that matter and how important it is to feel seen, heard, and cared for. My goal is to take the pressure off and let couples focus on what really matters: celebrating their love. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a bride & groom's faces light up when they sees their photos for the first time, knowing those moments are theirs to keep forever.

It’s impossible to pick just one favorite wedding memory because every wedding is so unique. Each one has its own story, its own energy, and its own special moments that stand out. Some weddings are filled with quiet, emotional moments, like a teary-eyed first look, while others are full of high-energy surprises, like a choreographed dance that leaves everyone cheering.

But if I had to pick one moment that always stands out, it’s when the groom sees the bride for the very first time. Whether it’s the quiet intimacy of a first look or the breathtaking moment she steps into view at the end of the aisle, everything else fades away in that instant. His face tells a story no words could ever capture—a rush of awe, overwhelming love, and the profound realization that this is the beginning of forever—and being able to capture that is a privilege I’ll never take for granted.

What I also love most are the personal touches—inside jokes written into vows, heirlooms tucked into bouquets, or that one song guaranteed to fill the dance floor. No matter the size, style, or setting, each wedding is a reflection of the couple’s love and their story.

Being there to capture those one-of-a-kind moments—the ones that make each day unforgettable—is what makes this work so rewarding. Every wedding reminds me how special it is to document love in all its forms.

I specialize in a perfect blend of documentary and editorial style photography and content creation, capturing both the raw, candid moments and the beautiful, carefully curated details of your day. My documentary approach allows me to tell the authentic story of your wedding as it unfolds—every laugh, every tear, every unexpected moment that makes your day uniquely yours. I focus on being a quiet observer, letting the emotions and connections naturally come to life in my images.

At the same time, my editorial style brings in that polished, timeless feel—capturing stunning portraits and creating those magazine-worthy moments through meticulously composed shots that reflect the elegance and beauty of the day. Whether it’s the way the light falls on your dress or the perfect angle of a first kiss, I’m always looking for those magazine-worthy moments that elevate the storytelling.

By combining both styles, I create a gallery that’s as dynamic and varied as your wedding itself—an authentic, emotional story with the kind of artistry that makes each image feel like it belongs in a magazine.

The name Captured by Christina Anne holds profound meaning for me. First and foremost, it’s my name—MY name. As a bride-to-be, I’m about to take on a new last name, and while I'm beyond excited for that next chapter with my fiancé, I wanted to honor the name I’ve carried from the start. It’s a representation of everything I’ve built and created on my own.

I officially launched Captured by Christina Anne Photography in 2023, but the inspiration behind it began long before that. As a bride myself, I experienced firsthand the struggle of finding a photographer who not only had a good eye and could bring my vision to life but also someone who was personable, kind, and offered a fair price. I wanted to make that process easier for other couples, to offer them an experience that felt more personal, more real—while still delivering high-quality, stunning photos.

In just a short time, the growth of my business has spoken for itself- inspiring. But this is only the beginning. I have big plans to build my company into something even greater, with a focus on refinement, innovation, and personalized experiences for every couple I work with. My goal is to continuously refine and perfect my craft, pushing myself to be the best I can be while providing clients with not just photos, but perfectly captured moments and memories that last a lifetime.

Captured by Christina Anne is more than just a business—it’s my passion, my craft, and a reflection of my unwavering commitment to be the best at what I do. The future is full of possibilities, and I’m excited to build something truly remarkable that stands the test of time.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me riding horses, which brings me immense peace and joy. Fun fact—I used to compete in equestrian events! I’m also a bride-to-be (and yes, I’ll happily say it a thousand times) and am beyond excited for the journey ahead with my incredible fiancé, who also happens to be my best friend. I’m a proud dog and bird mom—spending time with them is one of my greatest joys. They truly are the lights of my life.

In my downtime, I love rewatching Friends, getting lost in a good book, or catching a Broadway show. Summer is my favorite season—there’s just something about the warmth and energy that feels like home. Whether I’m on a walk, spending quality time  with my fiancé & pets, or editing photos (one of my favorite passtimes) I find so much happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Appreciating every moment and opportunity that comes my way!
