Shopping for your dress is such an integral part of your wedding planning experience, and so many of the wonderful memories you create revolve around finding "the one." That's why Burton's conducts one-on-one appointments, to make sure that each bride gets our full attention and expertise.

Any and all custom alterations on your gown are done in-house, so no need to worry about shipping your gown away, or having to transport it between the store and another location. We want to make sure your dress is exactly as you envisioned - whether that's adding sleeves, changing neck lines, or modifying bustles. Whatever you can imagine, we can make it happen.

In addition to our large selection of wedding gowns, we also carry dresses for your bridesmaids, mothers, and flowergirls. And if you're in need of a veil or headpiece - you're in luck! We have plenty of accessories to perfectly accentuate your gorgeous gown.

The best part about being in this industry is getting to know my customers. Since I've been in business for decades, I'm now starting to help the daughters of some of my very first customers find dresses for their own weddings. That really means a lot to me - that our relationships are lasting, and so many former customers entrust us to help their children the same way we helped them.

One of my favorite wedding memories happened quite recently.

In the very beginning of the pandemic many brides were forced to cancel or reschedule, and we did everything in our power to accommodate them during that very harrowing time. One of our brides decided she did not want to wait for her wedding, and proceeded with a small backyard gathering on Memorial Day weekend in 2020. Despite our store's mandated closure, I made sure her dress was ready on time. I arranged a time for her to come and pick it up, and met her outside of our shop. She wasn't sure she was ever going to get the opportunity to wear her gown because of COVID, and I'll never forget the look on her face when she finally had it in her hands.

Burton's actually began, as most of you may know, as a flower vendor. My parents started Flowers by Burton, and it is still in operation today.

When I graduated college, I ended up with a full-time job that I eventually left to start working in the store. At first I just sold accessories - veils, headpieces, and some jewelry. But then little by little, I began to start selling dresses. That was 35 years ago, and today we have our own boutique space above Flowers by Burton.

Q: Will my dress get in on time?
A: I won't take an order if there's even a tiny shred of doubt that it will arrive on time. So, rest assured - if we're going through with the order, your dress will be in on time!

Q: Do I need to make an appointment?
A: Yes, appointments are needed - we like to make sure each bride gets our full attention.

Q: What sizes do you carry?
A: We have sizes 10-26 in stock, but can alter any gown to fit you perfectly.

I love going to the beach, vacationing, and spending quality time with my family. I also have a dog and cat that I love very dearly!
