My greatest memory in business was when Beauty Mark was chosen out of 1,500 hair and makeup applicants by Procter & Gamble to do all hair, makeup, skincare, nailcare and barbering for the LPGA Event in New Jersey in June of 2016.
The Beauty Mark team, along with a local barber we recruited, traveled to New Jersey for three days to beautify all of the professional golfers and their families. It was so much fun to get to know all of the golfers, as they were all so very young and inspiring.
For the entire weekend, we got to see them compete professionally and see first hand the amount of dedication that goes into being a professional athlete. Inside the beauty tent, we were scheduling at least 75-100 appointments per day. It was a challenge, but equally as exciting.
This experience was truly unforgettable. Not only was it a chance for us to cultivate relationships (many of which led to long time friends and colleagues), but our team came together that weekend in a way I had not seen before--we were unstoppable.
