When you come in, you’ll meet with me, Tom, and our wedding coordinators. We will show you all of our beautiful vehicles and guide you in choosing what’s perfect for your big day. I have a passion for pleasing people. And I get total enjoyment out of seeing a happy bride come down the aisle. At the end of the night, I’m happy when she is happy. Working with brides and grooms is like my therapy. My focus is satisfied, happy brides.

As I said, I usually help coordinate the larger weddings. Well, one bride came in and was planning to have over 400 guests! She came in to look at the vehicles. Later on, I spoke with her father. He told me that I left such a good impression with her, that they just had to book me. And that was a wedding that I drove. I supervised the wedding from start to finish. They were such a nice family. But again, for me, it’s all about the passion.

Just like my passion for the wedding industry, I have a passion for cars. We recently had a customized sprinter, built specifically with weddings in mind. It is white, has a seating capacity for up to 18 people and a special European plug door. There are no other sprinters like it! We also have antiques! We have a 1947 Rolls Royce that came from a private collection that my son and I hunted down in Missouri. It’s truly a museum piece. This vehicle represents us and who we are. And, of course, we have party buses. Couples love party buses for their weddings.

I had a limo company for three years from 1999 to 2002. I sold the business for a different venture. About seven years ago, I went into semi-retirement. But I knew I needed to be doing something! So, it started out as a part-time gig. The next thing I knew, I was buying sprinters and Rolls Royces – jumping back into my passion! When COVID hit in 2020, we really took the time to create a paradise at Azure. We have a 6,000-square foot indoor showroom, and a 2,000-square foot office. The indoor showroom allows us to keep our vehicles in pristine condition – just waiting for you to take a ride on your wedding day. When couples come to our space, we want them to feel comfortable and like part of our family.

Q: What happens if the car breaks down? A: We keep all of our vehicles in pristine, working condition. But we understand things happen. Of course, we always have a contingency plan. We have other vehicles. And we also have a small circle of affiliates that we work with. If a vehicle breaks down, we can call another affiliate to help us out. And in turn, they can call us if they’re in a bind. In addition, we have an excellent roadside service team. Q: What happens if I book an antique in the winter? A: There is a possibility it won’t be available in the snow. While the cold doesn’t bother us, bad weather does. It’s not safe for you or the car. But we will switch you into the new Rolls Royce, which is all-wheel drive.

Do I have hobbies? Yes! I have a couple motorcycles, so I like to take nice, long rides. I also enjoy fishing. I like to travel, but I usually only go on vacation during our off season. And I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren! I have two granddaughters. It’s definitely an awesome thing – being a grandparent.
