Jody told me we were going out to dinner to celebrate our dating anniversary at a restaurant on the water.
We took a boat & rode along the canal and as we pulled up to the restaurant, there were huge balloons spelling out “Marry Me?” My first thought was, “oh look, someone is getting engaged!” It wasn’t until Jody pulled out a ring & got down on one knee that I realized we were the ones getting engaged!! Our families and a photographer were waiting on the dock to celebrate with us & capture the whole thing.
